Time (no, God) Heals all Wounds

believe

“…He sent his word, and healed them.” Psalm 107:20 “…by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. Injuries sustained in this life can be healed. The pain, and wounds you have suffered are able to be healed by your God. Far greater than any earthly physician, He is capable of giving you full recovery.  Please understand that you will have scars and the memories are still part of your history but these things do not have the power of incapacitating you. In fact, these very things can  become a powerful testimony against evil when you are healed. I’ll be praying about this.

Fuhgettaboutit!

forget

You might review your failures and stop moving. Don’t do it! Those mistakes do not define you perpetually if you’ve changed. Hebrews 10:14 says followers are perfect even while being made holy.  If Jesus’ blood is as powerful as you believe it is, then those past things have been wiped out.  It is as if they never happened.  Are there consequences?  Of course. But the objective was never to completely stop because you’ve made mistakes. Look, if you stop, your Enemy is waiting.  He prowls around like a predator, just waiting for you to hesitate or totally stop moving. 1 Peter 5:8  He works really well in those situations.  We can’t give him the opportunity.  So, I repent, Jesus’ grace covers the gap, and I keep moving forward. It can feel like a strain, (trust me I know), but God has provided help through the Spirit and other supernatural resources.(See 17 posts back from this on Instagram account).

Wise Guy, huh?

wise

Or girl!!  Actually, be one.  Check it out:

This is a super interesting word.  It defies a one word synonym.  In fact, in a biblical word comparison, the following verses show it can encompass various terms:
Insight Prov 4:6
Knowledge Prov 18:15
Experience Job 12:12
Understanding Prov 3:13
Intelligence Prov 17:27
Heavenly James 1:5
Then, to throw in a twist:
*(talking about earthly “wisdom”)
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17
With that verse,  it has other attributes, almost personifying it! What’s your take on this?

Forgive or Forget?

forgive

Well, neither are easy.  I’m not qualified to tell anyone to forgive.  The only qualified Being who can say this is God. You and I have been sinned against, there’s no dispute there. I’ve experienced and I’ve seen and I’ve been told some of the most horrible things that are senseless. Now, if I were innocent of any wrong doing, and I forgave everybody, well, maybe you’d listen, but I’m not.  The reason why God and Jesus are completely qualified, is because they are without sin, and they WILLINGLY, inserted themselves in our world to craft the only way that man could forgive and be forgiven. The Cross didn’t just happen. We have daily cross action of sin. I’m sinned against, and I sin. The Cross covers both.
“Be tolerant with each other and, if someone has a complaint against anyone, forgive each other. As the Lord forgave you, so also forgive each other.” Colossians 3:13 CEB

Footloose

feet

When you are in distress or desperate, anybody who comes to you with good news about that situation has beautiful feet.  On a spiritual level, anyone who comes with Word of the Gospel has the most beautiful feet.  That does not mean that the recipient will be receptive.  But that was never the responsibility of the herald.  The heavenly Good News is the message from God that tells humanity that they are free and can walk out of their earthly cells.  All of us have some kind of “master”.  Even if it is ourselves. 2 Peter 2:19 “…a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him…” But whoever, or whatever we serve that is not God, will enslave us and eventually rule over us completely.  The person who delivers the Good News to anyone who is currently serving a earthly master, is presenting the escape plan that will deliver that person from slavery.  Not all will accept it, but when a person does, oh, how unbelievably beautiful is that news!  Those were some sweet feet!  AND the news loosened the chains that bound the slave.  So, that pretty much describes being footloose!!
