This is probably one of the most cited Scriptures ever. After today, I will have posted it 3 times on Instagram. If you feel a little jaded, I understand.  Sometimes, I will see it, and it may or not land in my heart. At this point, I will say, look at it a little differently. These words are Loving Truth. Sent from Heaven and without an expiration date. There is never an anxious time that this verse is not applicable and the volume of anxiety is inconsequential.  This holy message is meant to release me from the burden of carrying around detrimental thoughts and emotions that were introduced by way of fear. There are different types of fear. Godly fear which is our respect for God. Common sense fear that warns us prior to acting on, thinking, and saying what could harm us. Anxiety isn’t a by product of those fears. It is produced by the fear that is the direct opposite of faith. That fear may be ungrounded at times. But it isn’t always irrational. There may be legitimacy to it’s existence. But it is still in total opposition to faith and it cannot be nurtured so that it floods us with anxiety. A follower of God is never supposed to be anxious about anything. If anxiety is present, remember, God demonstrated His Care at the Cross as Jesus paid for our passage Home. Anxiety is not part of the package. When it makes itself known, we forcefully throw it in the Direction of God. Your aim doesn’t need to be perfect but it does have to be permanent. You are not playing catch. Leave it. Then live by faith, following Jesus, and believing the Word.  “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life…” Matthew 6:25

“…My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 4:19

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Phillipians 4:6.

(I’m not all there yet,  so I’m ministering to myself too) ❤❤❤  If I don’t reply to comments, just know, I read them and appreciate very much your opinions, and responses??????

  1. Great message. Thank you. You are not alone, and when anxiety fills my heart I pray in His Word: Romans 5:3-5 “We also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” May the Love of Jesus pour into your heart and mind with His peace and Truth for in Him is complete freedom from any and all evil, and He will lead you out of darkness into the light of His comforting grace. Amen.
