I need strength and protection. I’m needy that way. My own strength and ability to protect myself is restricted because of my humanity.
Furthermore, my adversary, the Evil One, is not overcome by human effort anyway. Here’s where my Protector and Defender comes in. He will shield me. He will grant me the resilience to combat every force that attempts to overtake me. If I believe this truth and it is embedded in my heart, I will see it happen. Once I witness this, it will bolster my faith that He is present in every battle.Then I am fortified and protected in my faith which my Jesus works through. His Love is our Fortress.
