Darkness is prevalent. Wherever there is a corruption of what is good and right, darkness settles. You might be living your best life, but if you have any interactions with other humans, it’s guaranteed you’ll hit patches of darkness. If you chose to live a solitary life on a remote mountain, you might avoid a lot of it. There’s times, I wouldn’t mind. It’s not a possibility right now and I’m certain that God doesn’t will that for me anyway. What is His will for me when I am confronted with the dark? “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.” Phill 4:2 His Will is that I don’t add to it. He desires that I take the Flashlight, which is the Word of Life and turn it on full blast to illuminate the way and the Way. The purpose is twofold. I need to be able to navigate through it and also make that path bright for others so they cross from the Dark into the Light. The level of darkness is irrelevant. The Light of Life obliterates darkness regardless of the depth. Today may be a day that you find yourself walking through a dark place because of someone else’s sin. You’re a star. You shine and guide and you exchange dark for light. The darker, the brighter.

I didn’t have a very good idea of what to do today. What I wrote isn’t exceptional artwise, but the quote seemed appropriate. The subject is unavoidable because humans are so human. If you knew me outside of Instagram or this blog, you’d agree. In many places where my life has intersected with others, I’ve…
My Heart
Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart….” Mark 12:30 I want to love God with all my heart. I’m not 100% all day, everyday. I would be a liar if I didn’t admit that. Even though I am His and I am covered in His Love, there is still me in…
Underwater
This was the poem/prayer I composed at 3 am this morning. It would have been so much easier to have converted from human flesh to a spiritual vessel, at the point of being born again. But that didn’t happen. So, here I am, still stuck in this flesh. It’s a constant reminder of the weakness…
Time (no, God) Heals all Wounds
“…He sent his word, and healed them.” Psalm 107:20 “…by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. Injuries sustained in this life can be healed. The pain, and wounds you have suffered are able to be healed by your God. Far greater than any earthly physician, He is capable of giving you full recovery. Please…
Love With Us
Driving home from church on Sunday, I was by myself and I fell into one of those moods that hits me, where I really need God to make himself present or maybe give me more of a sense of His Presence, physically. I understand that He is very visible in the created things and that…
He Will Fulfill His Will
One day, I was given a do over. It was the day I was reborn. He, though, loved the original me. Because of that, I didn’t lose myself. It was a restart that made me clean but I remained. His plan was to enhance me with Himself by depositing His Spirit in me so I…
