When your soul is lit, the flame drives you to run after your passions and dreams. You strive to achieve and you always believe. You may stumble some and you may run low at times,  but you won’t give it up. It is as if you can see the fulfillment of your objective despite  distance or time. It’s faith. We frequently practice faith in so many areas of our life even if it is not spiritual. But this kind of faith is supercharged. Mine is fueled by His Love. He has deposited unbelievable pursuits in my life. Then He infused me with belief that they are achievable. I move forward in them because He directs and also opens avenues. My soul can’t help but be on fire. If He is determined to be by my side as I chase those miracles, why not burn for them? He won’t let me flameout. If I think through my life and review how He has enabled me to see His Hands at work, it stokes that fire. I need to review it often, because this life will try to put it out. But Love is the never-ending energy that will keep the flame alive during those times. Even if it seems like everything has attempted to douse it and all you have is an ember, it will still keep your soul warm. I’ve decided that He is my constant source of Fire. It makes sense because  looking at Him, you can see that He has this same attitude towards us. He is consumed with His Love for us which is always lit and will never go out.

“Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive.” Romans 12:11

“John answered them all, saying, ‘I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.’” Luke 3:16

Love Always, Fearless and on Fire❤❤❤

When I saw this quote, it really inspired me to believe that He is depositing His own Fire in us. He gives it because it is difficult to produce a limitless supply by ourselves.  I’m very excited to see what else He is going to set on fire. It helps me to continue to look forward. Some days,  like yesterday,  I need that thought. Work and regular life can make me forget. But then He intervenes and shows me a sign, and I feel the Fire again. Amen, Lord for always stepping in.
